Actually I'd guess it's a small minority of people that are very particular about their results and/or accustomed to the practice from photography or cinematography elsewhere. I think most casual pilots don't bother
I use filters on my 4 every time I fly it, I picked up the kit from polar pro and it's invaluable. Until I get filters for the Mavic, I'll do an appropriate comparison.
