I have my video settings at 1080p 30fps. FOV set to narrow. Videos look great and are at the expected FOV. But stills at the same location are are a much wider FOV. Picture size set to L. I thought I would get the same FOV in the stills as I get in the video. In fact I thought the video FOV wheel applied to the stills as well. Am I missing something?

No, the photo size is a separate issue. I normally use "L" on my cameras, to get the best quality photos, but on the P2V+ I use "S" or "Med" since it's more proportionate to a 4x6 photo, for printing purposes.

The photo size has nothing to do with FOV. I am asking about FOV on the stills vs. video.

I saw an overview video from DJI that said the FOV for still is always set the same (wide) because you can crop in post.
