Hot Pixels Suddenly Appear in photos and video

I have used my phantom 4 for about 5 years now with no issues. Yesterday out of the blue both images and video showed numerous hot pixels. I was able to salvage some footage but most of it will need to be reshot. Does anyone have a solution for this or have experienced this issue? The drone has never crashed and is always properly secured in a case when not flying - I have included an example image here ----> IMAGE

That looks like a problem with the black ribbon cable that connects to the camera.
