Hello from SW Ohio !

I'm real interested in buying a drone for hobby use. I've been researching drones for awhile now and feel totally overwhelmed from the choices out there.

I have yet to find a complete, comprehensive comparative chart the list many of the drones features.

Where do I find a decent comparison chart for drones ?

I am in Pleasant Hill Ohio. About 10 min from Troy

I'm over in Springfield. An inexpensive option for starting out would be the Syma X series. I have an X8HC. About the same size as a phantom and has altitude hold. About $100. Good trainer while you are deciding which Phantom to buy. I went with the 3A just because it fit my wants/needs and I didn't want to spend the extra on the 3P or 4.
