From what I understand, this is the only police drone unit in my State. If you click on some of the other links, they have used the mini in hostage negotiation, the larger units for searching for a missing horse, and kept an eye on a rescue of a mountain climber. Kind of defeats the argument of the lady that told me I was flying my “flying spy-bot” on Saturday. Lol
Great story! Thank you for posting it. The old lady you mention makes my case for responsible ownership. Whether it's drones, guns, or anything else, what it's used for and who is using it determines it to be good or bad, not the thing itself. I'm happy to see articles like this one. Great outcome, and hopefully stories like these will eventually help to calm the nervous Nellies out there that see it as a threat instead of a tool.
