Going to Dominican Republic - Has anyone flown there?

Hi Everyone. I am going to DR at the end of January. I looked up their laws about flying drones in the country.

I'm in the Dominican now, seen 2 guys flying drones around. Hotel security was watching one, but didn't say anything.
If you were flying over the beach, I wouldn't be surprised if someone would complain.
I think a phantom is a little bit extreme for flying. The guy I saw flying most was flying a mavic. The phantom that flew overhead on the beach, in sure that would be complained about.

I received a permit from the Domician Republic Government to fly in DR. I am pretty happy about that.
