After an incident in Christchurch New Zealand where a pilot reported a drone sighting at 2km high , which turns out was probably fabricated, Local council introduced these laws
Imagine having to submit a flight plan 3 days before detailing start stop altitude path etc
Not good, don't plan a holiday with your drone here
FYI Most other areas of Nz are fine with 400ft limit
