Here's a little video of Irelands Eye, an island just off the coast of Dublin. It was such a relaxing time knowing I was the only one there after getting dropped off. The round Martello tower was built as a gun turret in 1803 to repel any invading Spanish forces. The Chapel of St. Nessan was built in the 7th century. The Vikings were besieged on the Island late in the 9th century and they returned in the 10th century to pillage and plunder it. The island is steeped in history and a beautiful place to relax on the beach or on the very top of the island. Boat trips can leave you on the island for a few hours and pick you up in the evening time. Hope you enjoy
