First Phantom 4 flight - what happened?

Im doing it all again. Cold IMU, sensor calibration, compass - the works. Then I'm going to do some serious testing (using both controllers and VPS on/off later this afternoon. There is no wind so it's an ideal day to get to the bottom of this!

Don't want to tempt fate but DJI released a new version of Assistant yesterday. It has a new VPS calibration section. I've used it and (touch wood) just had a very stable test flight. Will test more in the morning but it looks like the new process works!!!!

Like you I had a P3 before my P4. Landing was/is always easy with no issues. I notice my P4 tends to be sensitive to even slightly angled landing surfaces. I notice too that when I touch down on even a slightly sloped surface like my driveway, and hold the left stick down, it will slightly increase throttle till its level, even if it means its lifting the legs slightly, then shut-off. No tip overs but just something I noticed.
