Got back in town late last night and got outside today to finally get our maiden flight done. Just a very short flight in the front yard. We have read a ton and watched a lot of vids while we were gone. Everything went smoothly. As we were walking back in my son says "hey, the antennas are down, did we ever put them up?". DUH. Glad we were only going straight up and back down. First lesson in the books. Yikes.
