Favorite Mods You’ve Done

Curious to hear your opinions about your favorite mods or add-ons/accessories. Why do you like them? Are they worth the investment? Excited to read your input.

Here are the first batch of accessories I’m adding to “Expecto Padronus...”

• Carbon fiber and aluminum landing gear strut and gimbal guard

• Silicone motor transport caps

• Propeller guards w/free spare props

• Front LED-activated 12v relay

What does the relay do?

Phantom Vision 2 - Prop guards, wider higher legs, two axis gimbal and scary face. Had it from new and it still flies.

I've been looking for some 'evil eyes' but haven't found any that suit me yet.

I like yours... if you don't mind me asking where did you get them?

Those eyes are extra big, but the company that does them has closed down. I have these on my other machines from Amazon. I haven't used the eagle looking ones because the crows around here attack the buzzards and kites - so better safe than sorry. Don't know why my link didn't work for the Buzzflyer site before, but here is the UK company that has the big eyes etc.

carbon fiber vinyl wrap. Tried some trip props. After balancing they work good. Sound good too not much for a performance difference but look amazing.

None, DJHI designed my drone to fly well as designed.
Why change something that works with all the associated riskes!

Oh I lie, Ive attached prop guards as I sometime demonstrate indoors and they protect people and drone, just in case. Outdoor flying they are not attached but the mounts, which are bolted into the motors, ack as reinforcement for that area.
