Yeah, the current version just looked like a first stab at it that was never refine -- meanwhile AirMap and others have crushed the FAA's offering. I won't hold my breath waiting for it...

I was actually surprised when I got a reply from them about what I thought was an error. Their initial response was for more information and when I provided it they thanked me and said they were looking into it.
