any copter falling out of sky is a high risk thing, but without protection against the props that are working like knifes it will be much higher risk!

I'd rather be hit by a plain quad than a quad covered in aluminum sheets...

With the "protection" fitted the quad would fly like a pig.. more likely to cause a crash then anything else the pilot does.
I can see a use for this inside a building, but wait, that's already been done with "prop guards" !!
