DJI products banned from U.S. ?

That's just an ambit claim, common in such legal cases and it's unlikely to come to anything.

Autel, ... contends in the complaint that excluding DJI drones from the U.S. “is likely to improve competitive conditions” in the market by providing opportunities for others, including Autel, Yuneec International Co. and Parrot SA.
If they could, no doubt it would improve competitive conditions for them and the other mentioned companies because none have been able to come up with products to match the competitor they would love to eliminate through the legal system since they are unable to compete by creating superior products or even match DJI's offerings.

Some background:
DJI sued Autel In a patent infringement complaint filed in August 2016, DJI alleges that Chinese drone company Autel Robotics “copied the look and feel of DJI’s UAVs when it designed its X-Star” model drones in 2015 less than a year after hiring away a DJI engineer.
Autel counter-sued in April this year claiming DJI infringed on some of their patents:

They could- yes.... I wouldn’t rate the chances as being high though. Keep your eye out for that phantom 5 (or whatever the next generation might be named). It should be arriving soon.

It's a shame that it's just a one-off for a special client ;)

Actually it would not be a bad thing . the prices of our phantoms and mavic's will soar . resale would be great we could make money on the deal and maybe get better drones in the process

DJI are the innovating creators of new drone technology.
Autel only make imitations of DJI products and release them two years after the originals.
How are they ever going to release anything if they have nothing to copy?
Removing DJI from the equation and removing any need to compete with them won't help produce better drones for buyers.

Wont need wetsuit- stock weather sealing from factory is expected to outperform any neoprene cover you might fit.
That was a Joke son.
And so was yours. We bad

That's the fabled Phantom 5 prototype .... or if DJI's story is correct, it's a special build they did for an industrial client.

So, it’s not a camera currently in use on another model and adapted for use in a Phantom? It’s actually a prototype of a new possible P5 camera with interchangeable lenses?
