DJI Phantom 2 Vision Photo quality?

the JPEG file was about 1.2 MB that's 1,200KB the raw file was 28MB that's 28,000 KB. Yes the raw file is 23 times larger. What does that mean?

You make a great point and I feel that the quality of the P2V photos may not be so much the camera but rather the jpeg compression algorithm it is using.

And as others have said - the true test will be when we can actually use the RAW's

And for those who may not have found this in the manual page 40 manual version 1.04 "RAW format support will be coming soon with DJI Conversion Software to convert PHANTOM 2 VISION’s Camera RAW files to Adobe DNG."
