Not really. You can change the field-of-view between recordings by accessing the settings screen, but you can't zoom in and out.

When editing your video, you can make the final video in a lower-resolution format (for example SD). This allows you to crop the original HD video to "digitally zoom" in on things. That's what I did in the video at:
