I've been preparing to start the process to get the 107 certification. Since I have a Recreational Pilots License it sounds like all I need is the sUAV test. So if I do get the commercial certification, does that mean all of my flights are commercial? In other words even if I am making a "hobby" flight for my own entertainment it has to meet the commercial requirements? At this point I don't plan on making it an actual business. But I've had people ask me if I can take photos or videos that I think require a commercial license. I want to avoid issues with the FAA. It would be handy to have the option to make a few bucks to cover some of the costs.
