DBS Mods Antenna vs FPVLR Antenna

Has anyone tested both yet? I researched this with results only appearing for the P3P, but the consensus I found was that the FPVLR while significantly more directional, did result in overall better range. Wondering the results are the same for the P3S? At $150 though, the FPVLR would have to be pretty significantly better to choose it over the DBS Mods antenna upgrade.

There is a long range junkie in the P2V+ forum and he swears the best combo is a long FPVLR (12 turn) helical for control, and ITELITE w/ FPVLR dipoles on the bird for FPV.
