Crazy question: Is your drone dirty?

I've been flying since March and have quite a number of hours in the air. I've recently noticed that the bird and especially the props are not as white as they were in the past.

This happen to you?

I was going to use Windex wipes or baby wipes to clean up the non-electronics.

A clean bird is a happy bird. Plus, cleaning it up will give you a chance to look for problems, like little cracks on the shell, or dings on the props.

Ha never thought of bugs. I never really expected the bird to get too dirty except from take offs from dusty areas.

I use baby wipes with Aloe after every flight . Keeps it nice and slick

I have been using 303 Aerospace protectant. I use on all my plastic or composite outdoor gear (kayaks) and on my car. Designed to protect from UV rays.

Armor All cleaning wipes then their protectant wipes
