Course Lock Mode

Does course lock "kick" in when the phantom is 30m from you?

Course lock won't do anything at less than 30M. Not sure what happens if you have course lock enabled at less than 30M and then fly beyond 30M.

Course lock kicks in when 30ft + away from you and it takes about 15 secs to engage (from my experience)

I thought that Home Lock required the 10m range to work, and that the Course Lock, relying on the compass, did not need the distance from the recorded home point.

But I've been wrong before.

COurse lock is compass based. It is in effect before you even take off. Home lock requires the craft to be at a distance. COrrect me if I am wrong.
