Converting to MP3

MP3 is an audio format, not video.
If you mean MP4, just go into the camera settings and change it to record in MP4.
To convert an existing MOV to MP4, use Handbrake, Freemake, or pretty much any video editing software.
From memory, I think Freemake sticks an annoying ad clip on the end, so maybe stick to another tool.
