Camera compatability

I had an unfortunate interaction with the side of a hill and its gonna pretty much be a total redo. I'm wondering what kinda options I have for replacing the camera, do I need to replace with the same thing in order for everything to function or are there other units that can be installed without too much trouble. Amazon has a P3 advanced for $279, will this work with the Standard? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The P3S and Advanced both use the 2.7K camera so it should work. Have you looked on E-Bay? I recall seeing cameras and gimbals there all the time. Some new with warranty. Others "As Is"

The advanced and standard cameras are not interchangeable. The standard camera has a wifi video downlink incorporated in the gimble, the advanced camera assy incorporates a modified USB video output to feed the ofdm board in the advanced body.
