CAA issue draft UK leaflet for new drone sales

Hello all. This is probably not news to you all, but the CAA in the UK is looking at a leaflet to be included in all sales of SUAVs within the UK. The idea being to inform the masses about the basic regulations in an easy to digest format.

It's all common sense stuff and I for one, welcome it.

From the same source, there is also a no fly zone around the Nato summit in Wales as well, so no buzzing the top brass

I get a not found message from the link but from the summary you describe that sounds like a great idea.

I find it amazing a lot of people are unaware of the height restriction, and often confuse feet for metres which makes a heck of a difference.

Well designed simple instructions with links to further info can only be a good thing.
