Best Firmware for Standard

Just wondering whats the Best Firmware for the Standard..Is the is the Latest the best so far..Or is older firmware's better for all around distance and control etc.

which version have you got?. when i bought my drone 2nd hand it was allready on 1.9.2.0 but it kept asking me to update which i did and dont have any problems at all.. their is though no way of going back to another version at least it doesn't give me any other options thatn the current one i have.

I fly with V1.7.90 firmware and never had a problem.
I get very good range ( I have eyes like a hawk ;-) )
I've never updated, even when the Go app begs me to, I mostly use Litchi anyway.
Looking at the release notes for later firmware, the changes were mainly around flight restrictions and there was also one in V1.8.10 which delays stopping the motors if you accidentally do a CSC while flying.
That's not to say DJI didn't change something in later firmware and not put it in the release notes, but I'm happy with V1.7.90 so I'm not going to update just for the sake of it.
