Battery Charging Ratio- Quad And Controller....

Newbie question here as I am still waiting for my DJI to arrive.
What is the ratio of charging the quad battery to having to charge the controller battery?
In other words do you have to charge the controller battery every time the quad battery is charged?

The controller draws very little power and there's no increase in output/range from being fully charged.
You should get through many quad batteries before needing to charge it - probably at least 20 flights.
There's the range extender too, that seems to go down somewhat faster but you could expect maybe ten flights before needing to recharge.
