When you get down to 2 lights and the 3rd one flashing, is it better to charge them or to fly until it gets lower?

The battery is at the proper storage level when the lights are in this range:

If the 3rd light is solid or the 4th light is illuminated, then let the battery alone (don't press the button) and the battery will automatically discharge down to the storage level.

If you have an interesting target for a short flight, I'd fly until it gets to around 30%, this is about 1/5th charge or a 5minutes round.

I always try to stay above 25%.

Does it hurt the batteries or controller if you charge at 50%?
