id like to upgrade current P2 motors. question are these a direct plug in for oem?

is their actually a benefit to these motors over stock?
lastly the description says nothing about what esc these work with? I'm assuming stock?

You can change out the stock motors for the T-motor's just by soldering. If you dont know how to solder, most hobby shops will do it for about $6 a motor. The stock ESC's work with it. They are said to give better flight times and overall lifting ability although I have never tried them. Heres a test video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2s3ed-BREw

One of the pictures in this link:
http://www.amazon.com/T-MOTOR-MN2214-Ve ... dji+tmotor
states the "recommended ESC: T10A".

The same pic recommends the 8045 prop.

Many of the questions and answers, as well as the reviews are a year old.
When did the Version 3 hit the market, anyone know?

I'm running these motors. Seem smooth.
I can't compare them to stock motors as I installed them before my first flight.
I bought the matching T-Motor CF 9*3 props but have not installed them yet.
Make sure you get the prop nuts if you get their props.
No complaints as of yet, seem to be a good motor.

auen1. Why did you even reply?? No comparison to stock. :?: I have see youtube videos that say these motors have less flight time.

you seem like a new member here, welcome, your comment towards another member seems a bit harsh.. auen1 posted his experience with these motors, since i created this thread comments like his is what i was looking for. I already was aware that the t motors are better than stock. IF you think they are worse than stock that is your opinion, however i would point to their specs and youtube to help educate you about their usefulness. Lastly since you are a new member here you may want to review the forum conduct and rules for posting. Our site admin frequents a lot of posts and the last thing a new member needs is a strike against him for being "harsh"..

IF you care to share your educated opinions, or if you have actually installed these motors and noticed less flight time please share.

I have been researching motors a lot lat-lee. I suffered a bad crash this past weekend and have to change out my shell, and 1ESC. Sorry if Harsh. Cranke and old.

My motors all feel a little gritty when I spin them by hand. I have not fond a good upgrade motor.
The ones with honest reviews all say you loose performance some ware.

Why go thru a motor change, and spend the money, If upgrade is minimal ?? I ask this because I am already having to pull every thing out of the shell .. Now would be good time for me to change motors. But a ESC change is required with some motors.
I have ordered the upgrade ceramic bearings for my motors. Will see if this helps the gritty feel .
Droping 200 bucks on motors is not looking so good.

Let us know how this motor upgrade goes for you ? A lot of reviews are bias. Are you going to change out ESC to??
I hope not stomping on your thread.

Thanks

i agree with everything you said, I'm looking for the best bang for your buck "upgrade" to oem motors... i think i found what i like, i have watched a youtube video and also did some research via manufacturer spec sheet and i have found some inexpensive options...

reviewing vs t motors at 7amps, thrust is more than the antigravity by almost 100g  plus at 64$ its easy on the wallet... watch the install by "grandpa jake" on youtube on his p1 phantom with these imotor upgrades.. they seemed really good.

Re: ANTI gravity motors thoughts? id like more power captain

Well after trying to put bearings in, I have to say go with new motors. The bearing up grade did not go well. I am replacing the motor I tried to upgrade. And will put in upgrade motors when I know the ones I want.
