This works and designed for ipad or ipod wifi only, or in fact any wifi tablet. It is a solution for anyone who bought a wifi only ipad or tablet and who may need gps later down the road. Like follow me feature when it comes out.

If it is 30 pin it might not work. All the iOS devices that work with the phantom 3 probably all have a lightning connector.
