No not for you, the P3s and p3a have the camera board in the gimbal board above the gimbal, only p3se and P3s have it directly in the camera, you need what's called a gimbal board
A friend had a similar problem, fixed it this way. I am almost 100% sure the board in the Standard can handle 4k, it works on my friends SE. I'm sure DJI knew this, and had plans for the SE, since the SE is almost 100% reused spare parts from the Standard, Advanced, and Pro.
The board has an Ambarella chip on it, used to compress video before sending it to the SD card and the live feed.
Honestly just looking for the board but if you have a camera assembly with other problems (e.g. broken lens, bad sensor etc.) I'd be willing to purchase instead.
These are pictures...
Thanks, I think I am slowly narrowing down the problem being not with the SD card or camera sensor board but the board behind it, the encoding board that compresses the video before saving it to the card. The same board is what compresses and sends the image to your phone so you can see your...
It's an encoding board it takes the image from the camera and compresses it and sends it to the live view that you see on the phone when flying the drone, the HUD. It's a false alarm either way, after some cleaning it turned out to just be sharpie writing from factory, and the way the light was...
Ok so digging deeper I believe the above board is not damage because it does all the functions it's supposed to. Digging deeper to the "encoder board", the board the sits directly behind the camera board and i found this:
Might have found a problem but I'm not sure if this makes sense, bear with me... On the normal P3s the SD card goes into the gimbal plate above the gimbal, sorta in between the body and the actual gimbal assembly right? On the SE the SD card slides directly in the camera. So my first thought is...
I'm in Canada, Ottawa to be precise. Also are you talking to me about sending it in? I have a ton of experience fixing P3s and P4s for friends, but when I got the PSE and started having problems with the gimbal assembly I realized the gimbal assemble is complete different than all the other...
No my comment about the cache was regarding wether these drones cache the video, and then store it on the card as opposed to just storing straight to the card. SE cameras are so hard to come by used as well, I really dont know what to do, I don't have the moolah to send it in to DJI, I'm a...
I know the help and support in this forum is awesome, thank you. If it wasn't for this blizzard in Ottawa preventing me from flying I'd be even more upset over this :(
Ah there you go, when my SE was acting up with it's VPS I took off the VPS module that dude in this video is holding in his left hand. That panel underneath is the OFDM reciever. My SE doesn't have this, I know this beacause when I took off my VPS theres nothing but plastic underneath. I don't...
Bad news i ran out and snagged a SanDisk Extreme Plus, test reported 90MB/s write 95MB/s read, surely this is enough for AT LEAST 1080p/30fps. Well turns out, NOPE. drone still hates me, doesnt even want to record 720p anymore
Are you sure the SE has lightbridge? Before I bought mine several review sources said no Lightbridge, it just has 5.8GHZ Wifi to increase the Range. My range is somewhere at 5KM with a Beer-can range extender mod so no problems there but if you look at my above comment i have MUCH more pressing...
Honoestly my dude, what's pi$$ing me off is how many problems I have been having with mine. VPS system was acting up and drone was drifting too much until I downgraded the firmware and then RE-upgraded the frimware. And then one beautiful day I was soaring in the big blue sky when suddenly my...
