I'm doing a 2 wk loop through the parks in June. Was planning on bringing the drone but understand I can't use it in the parks. I guess what I'm trying to find out, is there enough places to use it that its worth taking it. I travel with 3 boys and do astrophotography so bring a bunch of stuff...

I'm going in June (Bryce, Moab, capital reef etc) and will bring my drone. Bet there are nice areas around the national parks where I can fly and photograph.

I have had good luck with thin film filters and I keep the polarizer and ND2 behind the us filter with diffraction. Will my slr, I always use a polarizer but the majority of my photos involve water or big skies.

No expert but you should calibrate IMU before first flight, update firmware on drone and remote, calibrate compass. You may have done all this. I remember reading a stickie here that takes it through all the steps before first place.

Obviously, you are new to this. Do you have antennas positioned horizontal since flying straight overhead?

Lightroom is also great for organizing your photos. My workflow is, upload photos to LR,sort by giving numbers, then I delete all the 1,2,3. I then make adjustments and if a series, I apply the changes to similar photos. Add metadata. Then if there are photos that need more work, export to PS.

I'll check the polarizer since easy to check if legit. I went this company since they are just inserts. I film water mostly and have ND and polarizer at same time is ideal.

Filters came today. Company is legit but communication not great.
