I'm doing a 2 wk loop through the parks in June. Was planning on bringing the drone but understand I can't use it in the parks. I guess what I'm trying to find out, is there enough places to use it that its worth taking it. I travel with 3 boys and do astrophotography so bring a bunch of stuff with me. Don't want to be driving for miles to fine a place where I won't be hasseled.
There are lots of beautiful places outside the National Parks. Check out www.visitutah.com for a few ideas...
Try Airmap or B4UFly and see what comes up as a NFZ like the Nat. Parks. Then you also have to deal with any NFZ that may pop up in GO 4 as well and deal with it auto-landing somewhere if you hit a NFZ wall in its geo-fence.
