    Battery setup for storage

If you use your AC on a weekly basis, life is sweet and your lipos will love you!! :) If you plan to leave your batteries on the shelf for an extended period (>10 weeks) then... Managing your batteries will be a PITA and you risk bricking them if you don''t take care! - Lipo's like regular...

    Battery setup for storage

I found out the hard way...left 3 batteries (all started at 2 lights) for around 9 weeks and one was dead and the other 2 had 1 flashing light but came back to life...so is looks like they don't stop discharging once they reach their optimal 40%-65% mark!! Lucky it was still under warranty...

    Gimbal is not in center

Oh i also did an IMU calibration first, then restarted the AC and then did this gimbal calibration, then turned off AC in this position. Dont do a normal gimbal calibration after this one. On startup now it should be pointing straight...hope this is clear

    Gimbal is not in center

Yer I had that problem as well. Once you finished the calibration in this position power of the P4. Place it back on its feet and start. It should then be straight. Also check the rubber skirt is tucked in around the yaw motor.

    Replace Top Shell or not

FWIW, just been through the same tear down etc. Replacing 2 motors requires 80% of the effort and top shell only is cheap given the cost of your time...I'd do the shell as well... PS do the solder motor solution instead of cutting the wires.

fly P4P+ safely without this "plate" temporarily...?

You can fly with out the plate and the worse case if it pops off will be you'll lose video feed and vision sensor will go crazy. I had this happen to me as I forgot to secure the gimbal. I had the bird at 100ft and it thought it was on the ground and down throttle did nothing!! Had to disable...

    Gimbal is not in center

The P4 is not like the P3 yaw arm grub screw. Yaw motor is self contained

    Gimbal is not in center

I had the same problem with the yaw position post fix. Tried this and it seem to fix the problem Place you P4 in this position and then do the gimbal calibration Here is the link to the original DJI article Camera face towards left instead of facing center.

Gimbal Yaw Tuning in DJI GO 4 ver 4.1.4

Hi Richard, on IOS 4.1.5 with a P4 the yaw function changes the roll settings....I pressed the yaw button 20 times and then looked the roll number and magically its 20!! You can also see your live feed rolling as you press the adjust yaw feature! I can confirm this feature is not in Andoird...

    P4 Gimbal Yaw Problem

Haha just changed my yaw motor on the P4 and bingo same problem!! I heard they use magnetic sensors and hall effect to determine gimbal orientation. Your testing sort of confirms that, as the problem is local to that AC no matter which replacement part you put on it. I read from DJI that you...
