Is there a mapping/flight control app for IOS that allows importing a KML/KMZ/SHP of polygons, and creating grid missions at each polygon? I have access to just about all the apps including the paid ones but can't find this feature.
Sorry I disappeared. After back to back crashes I needed a break from even thinking about drones. But I used DJI Assistant 2 to get the .DAT flight logs. It saves as 1 giant .DAT file. The software said "compressing" when I selected where to save it. Is this the correct Aircraft log you guys...
This current crash--the drone is in real bad shape. I have it in my possession though. Can I still get the device .dat from it when its extremely damaged? Here is the .txt file
Here is my latest P4P crash that happened yesterday. Same scenario as the one I started the thread about... had eyes on it and then it suddenly just drops to the ground.

Sorry guys, I will connect the phantom to my PC tonight and get the logs you said to look for. But guess what? I literally about 30 minutes watched my Phantom4pro I bought to replace the one we've been talking about, fall from the sky in eerily similar fashion. What are the odds both occurred...
I had VLOS the whole time. So did another guy who was there with me. It didn't hit a bird. All propellers were attached, and the battery only came out when it hit the ground and rolled a few feet away. yes i still have the aircraft.

I'm seeing a demand for thermal pick up, especially in power distribution lines.. Very few pilots have adequate thermal capabilities but it's a very expensive endeavor.
I’m just exploring some potential uses to see if it’s feasible. I asked this question with making an orthomosaic of a rural road with only frontlap and ideally a speed that can get it done in an affordable amount of time
