I just recently downgraded the controller’s firmware and it seems to be working now!! Not sure if this will be a long term solution, but so far I’ve had consistent gimbal connection after the downgrade.

To my knowledge, all Phantoms will reach the end of their factory lifecycle soon. Just a matter of time before Phantoms will be drone of the past

I appreciate the offer. I really like the Phamtom though. I may to to get it fixed here in a local shop.

After much troubleshooting and contact with DJI, it turns out that the Phantom has reached its full lifecycle. DJI knows there is an issue and refuses to fix it. They essentially told me to buy their new drones as replacement for the Phantom 4

The DJI Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 both state that their operating temperature range is from 32° to 104° F ( 0° to 40° C ). However, not all UAVs operate the same. For the least risk of obtaining drone battery damage, I would try to fly when the temperatures are within the range provided.
