Need help finding the correct wire replacement parts

Thanks. This is great advice, but the original reason for my post was to help me find those parts. Do you know where I can buy new ones?

Need help finding the correct wire replacement parts

Those sure look like the ones, but I'd need to see a shot of the underside, as I am going by where they attach to the board, not where they terminate.

I don't actually know what they are for, on account of DJI not providing a helpful exploded diagram.

Oh, OK. I'll check these out. But they don't look exactly the same as what I'm dealing with.

These are not solder-connected. They are crimped in. I simply spread the crimps and am crimping the ends and using a little glue for good measure

yes, ripped out of the plug ends. But I'm using a microscope and small tools to try to reconnect. We'll see how it goes.

Need help finding the correct wire replacement parts

Thanks for being so helpful, everyone. I only just now noticed the replies. The wire ends ripped out of the connectors. The connectors were still plugged into the board. I will try to put the wires back in, but I'm not hopeful. Since it's apparent I can't buy new ones, I'll buy regular Wifi...

Need help finding the correct wire replacement parts

In my last crash, the gray and black single wires that run from the drone body to the gimbal assembly got ripped from their connectors. The connectors are those gold IPX 13 connectors that are micro coaxial connectors. I am using my dissecting microscope, tweezers, and other small tools to try...

    Scared to fly too far....

Not "other quads," but there is a specific model of the Phantom that now has obstacle detection in multiple directions. I feel like if I had used that drone, I could have avoided my friend, the tree.

    Scared to fly too far....

Well, it's probably more honest to say that I set the wrong home point. I must have done this when I was in the house calibrating the compass and getting everything set up. Despite being very careful, the home point step must have happened indoors. When I went out into the field, the drone flew...

    Why don't aftermarket cables work?

I have looked for P3 Standard ribbon cables on Amazon and even bought an after market and original manufacturer cable. The rumor about after market cables not working at all is true. What I'm trying to figure out is, why would this be? It's just wires inside a plastic casing. What would make the...

    Scared to fly too far....

You are right to be scared. The Phantom 3 Standard has few protections against crashing into things. I flew out of range a couple weeks ago, and the automatic return function kicked in, but it had memorized the wrong home point and came down into a tree and damaged the gimbal and cable. I'm...
