Thanks Ken. @docrobot the tool works by spreading the pressure evenly around the filter so it doesn't bind. Lots of people have had success with other methods but this is to help those where nothing works and for those who want a proper tool for the job - for some reason dji employ body...

Updated yesterday and seems good on a test flight - possibly more stable than before. I did notice my battery life % reduced from 100% before the update to between 94% and 98% afterwards - don't know if the way the calculation is done has changed, or whether updating the battery firmware forced...

Yes some have got the plastic prop tool to work, but phantom 3's released earlier in 2015 came with a different tool - a little metal spanner that hooked into the spokes on the motor.
