I've never been asked and likely never will. I use my drone to inspect roofs so, professionally, I am never flying more than 75' or so am in in residential areas.

Received my physical license 'card' today.. took the exam around the 20th of Jan., so less than a 2 month backlog. Interesting that it does not list the 2 year expiration.

I have a Standard 3 and I got the battery warmer from DJI. It is essentially a dummy load.. you run the battery in it for 5 minutes, let it set for 5 minutes to warm the battery and away you go. No more cold battery problems.. I still have to wait a little longer for the drone itself to 'warm...

I thought the part 107 licenses were valid for 2 years? You say they don't expire after 2 years?

I took and passed my Part 107 FAA exam on 23 Jan., so based upon the above info, looks like I won't see my license until maybe March. So, for renewal in 2 years, FAA will require taking the FAA exam again (another $150) OR taking an FAA online class (cost unknown)?

I took and passed my part 107 remote pilot exam this morning. I asked the proctor about the requirements for renewal in 2 years and she didn't know if the exam has to be taken every 2 years or if a simple form needs to be submitted for renewal (like a drivers license renewal).
