Thanks for the response. I know how to set the limit. The problem I'm having is that I'd like the GoPro to be level and not have to be tipped down at all. Sometimes I want more sky in the photo than the ground. When it's level I see the propellors so I was hoping there would be a way to lower...
I know I have seen this posted somewhere, but I cannot find it. I'd like to find a way to lower the H3-3D gimbal on my Phantom 2. I keep getting the propellors in the shot when I tilt up and I don't want to crop the video as it eliminates alot of the sky. I'd love to be able to lower the gimbal...
I totally agree!! Not trying to be a ****, but your personal record setting excursion could get people hurt. Anytime you fly you run the risk of getting people hurt being responsible or not, but purposely flying high and out of sight......not good.
Pretty straight forward. Removed H3-2D gimbal. Installed this one, plugged in the connector and everything was good. Did a few updates and all was good to go.
Latest firmware and it all seems great except after 3 good flights, my FPV flickers on the monitor. It looks great, goes black, then looks great and then goes black. Very odd. Not running the interference board so could that be the issue.
I received my new gimbal from B&H and it was a version 1 :)
So far, everything has updates fine and it appears to work great. x1 channel didn't need to be calibrated. Everything is updated and I hope to take it ona night flight tonight. Fingers crossed :)

I called B&H today as I had to return my H3-3D gimbal I got as it was toast. Knowing that there are 2 versions, I asked them to try and send me a version 1 (without the ribbon). We'll see what I get on Wednesday. The boxes are labeled so if they had one I'm sure they will send that one. I just...
This is the important part that everyone leaves out. When you calibrate the sticks, you can also do the x1. I was trying to do it with the box on the right by itself. It does say x1 calibration, but that never helped me. Made it worse. Not sure that makes sense, but I accidentely hit it when...

I got my H3-3D the other day from B&H and no extra skids or the mounting plate. I just dremeled a hole and it fits fine. I put the mounting plate on the Phantom, used a marker to mark the hole and then used the Dremel to knotch it out. 5minutes. So easy a caveman could do it.
I'm on a mac and on the DJI website I can download v2.0 or v3.0. Common sense would tell me to download v3.0 as it's newer. I would assume it would have everyone 2.0 has. Why does this stuff have to be so confusing? I don't see why they can package all the software to 1 program.
