Im looking for a lightweight gimbal guard. I was looking at the Polar Pro one but have read that it interferes with the gimbal start up process. Anyone using these? How do they affect flight?

The killer RC version is half the weight but double the price. How much weight can you add safely to the Phantom?

Have you noticed any difference in flight with the extra weight?

Yeah did I bit of research on them and I'm still sketchy about it. I think Im going to play it safe and order with CVP I got a good deal with them through the price match and I have bought cameras from them in the past :)

That was my concern, especially after reading up on here. The advanced seems the way to go its just expensive to justify if it malfunctions in some way, not to mention I'm a new pilot and could easily end up crashing it. :P

Do you get your warranty with amazon? I can get a great deal with SLR Hut but have my doubts about them being reliable

Trying to decide between the standard and the advanced, but I'm struggling to justify the cost of the advanced. Anyone got any advice on where to buy cheaply? Don't want to void warranty even though it seems like the warranty is pointless anyway.
