Newbe question. Im flying recreationally and an area I want to fly in is about 4.5 miles from a local airport. So do i just need to contact them and let them know i will be flying in this area or do i need to get their approval as well?

Im a newbie to droning. Been flying my Phantom 4 for about 2 months now. With regards to getting the Part 107 certification, by having it I know that it allows for the commercial use of drones. What other advantages or disadvantages does having a Part 107 certificate provide? Thanks!!!

Considering Purchasing a drone. Looking at either the p3 pro or p4. I understand that dji is not producing the p4 anymore which concerns me. Leaning towards the p3 pro, just looking for some guidance.
