It looks like I have just hit the same problem you have. My P3 Pro is detected, but when I tap the Camera button, I just keep getting asked to set permissions. The last firmware updtae was 2017, so I should already be on that. Have you managed to get the problem rectified?

Hhi Rod Nothing at all from either of the batteries when I press the buttons. I left one on charge overnight, the other on charge the whole following day. Not a peep. I meant to add, the controller is charging perfectly. And my multimeter shows the charger is putting out around 17.4v.

I was having the same problem, just stopping dead after about 30ft out with "maximum distance reached" or similar message. I think I even posted about it here. Then one day it just started flying normally again.

I agree about RTH in crowded areas. The best compromise is to take manual control when you have a clear view of the bird on the way back.
