Excellent video work there. We spent three weeks in Alaska about three years ago, and I definitely want to go back and do some aerial video now.

Yeah I got all excited thinking it would at least be an update to their previous story. Watched it and it was just a rerun verbatim of the one they ran quite a few weeks back. Oh well.

Yes, I am using the stock 10" DJI props. The 5500mah battery from Helipal costs 79.90, plus shipping from Hong Kong, which is $29 for 1 or $37 for 2 batteries. http://www.helipal.com/storm-11-1v-5500mah-35c-lipo-battery-pack.html I got mine with the 550, so shipping was pretty much a non-issue...

Since there has been some recent discussions about different batteries and flight times, I did a little experiment earlier today (or now yesterday :) ). I had gotten a couple of these batteries a couple of months or so ago, the 8000mah 3S from Ready Made RC...

Now THIS is the type of publicity our hobby needs, not the sensationalized nonsense that seems to be the norm. Although, I have to wonder; did they have FAA approval. ;)

Wow, theoretically that equates to about 2-3 minutes of added flight time, if I'm not mistaken. Have you tested that yet?
