I tried ammonia and it does not effect it at all. Still hard as a rock!
Haven't tried acetone yet but lacquer thinner also ineffective.

Got mine back on Friday from STC Electronics in NYC. (listed on DJI website)
Works great after they replaced the transmitter.
Cost $84 because transmitter was under DJI warranty.
Highly Recommend and tell them JSPAD sent you.
By the way, they said they had received 3 or four just like mine so I believe the problem is widespread.
It's s shame because if it wasent for the reliability issues you cant beat this platform.
My P2V+ developed the exact same problem. Went through very frustrating calls with DJI LA office and they told me that it was a problem with the app and that they couldn't fix it. I just couldn't accept that. Called the Texas and Atlanta service centers but not much help either.

Mine worked flawlessly (except for erratic height in telemetry but my P1 also does this) for two months but suddenly no video when I go to use it.
I am using a Samsung S4 normally but I have also used a Galaxy tab 3 and an iPhone 4s. The Galaxy Tab has issues with the app.

I have a P1 (upgraded to 1.5 with iosd telemetry) and a P2V+ and I have never had better than intermittent accuracy for the height. Sometimes it is better than others. I believe it is a Naza issue. Just a guess.
Finally reached someone who seems to have an idea what might be causing this.
Sam at the new York service provider, listed on the dji site, believes that the video signal from the camera isn't making it to the transmitter. Might be bad board in top of gimbal. He gave me an RMA# so I am shipping...
I use to be able to get 700m from my FPV but I modified my range extender to allow using higher gain antenna.
I took my shell apart (screwed my warranty I think) and everything is connected OK.
DJI tech says it is the app but I am not buying it because when i uninstall the new app and install...

Mine has been out for two weeks and nobody, including DJI tech support can fix it. DJI says it is the app and that they are working on it but that is all they can offer.
