Do you let other people fly your bird?

I've let my dad fly, since he's the one that bought it for me. I had to take over again quickly, since he was headed full speed toward the side of the house. He hasn't asked again, and says no when I ask him if he wants to now [emoji14] Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Things that make you frustrated

Flying is a great hobby, but every now and then it gets very frustrating. Like just now, I woke up, showered, packed up my bird, put my shoes on, and started the 15 minute walk to the park... ...Then, as I got halfway there, I remembered I forgot to charge the batteries last night. So now I'm...

Do you ever have any "Oh crap" moments when you fly?

Yesterday, I was flying in a park near a dam. I wasn't thinking, and didn't notice the power lines. Luckily, I noticed before anything bad happened. I made an audible series of curses, and brought my FC40 straight down. Whew.

What was your first experience in bad wind?

Mine was last wekend. My dad and I drove to a park that was perfect for flying. Big open field, and lots of joggers to freak out. My dad had a friend that wanted to see it, so we waited for him to arrive. Now, it seemed like a perfect day. Then the wind started to pick up. I would guess maybe...

How do people react to your Phantom?

Totally unrelated to flying, but I love La Jolla. Went there for Thanksgiving in last year with the family.

Is this an indication of low battery, or should I be concern

I was flying yesterday morning, and I noticed that the throttle started to become much weaker. I would push it all the way up, and the Phantom would only ascend about a foot or two. Once I noticed this, I assumed that it was just low on battery and immediatly landed and switched out the...

How do people react to your Phantom?

This morning, I logged about a half hour of flight time at a park. There were a few joggers, but it was a very large grass area where I was flying. None of the joggers said anything, but a few stopped and watched it for a minute. Then a little boy (I would say maybe five years old) came up and...

Re: Downtown Nashville at Sunrise (And hilarious drone crash And I didn't have prop guards. I couldn't fit the bird in the case with them on. The props are fine now, though.

Re: Downtown Nashville at Sunrise (And hilarious drone crash That'll be it for while. I'm going out of town today, and won't be back until saturday. Then I have to go to my sister's bday party the next day.

https://vimeo.com/122180324 The drone is fine right now. I don't know what happened, but I lost control somehow. Luckily, I was able to bring it down before it flew out of sight.

    Noob here who needs advice

D'oh! Just had my first real crash. I was up around what I would guess is 40-50 ft, when I somehow lost control of it. I was worried, since there was a river close by and it was going in that direction. I panicked, and put the throttle all the way down. Luckily, it landed in grass. I was...
