How do you "excite" the battery? From what I've read on these forums a dead battery is just that. Perhaps it's time I stopped reading these forums. There is a lot of duff gen out there by the looks of things.

The best way is fiddly and will negate the warranty, but it is the most effective/permanent way. Take the back off the gimbal arm and adjust the feedback potentiometer. This was the only way I found to sort the problem
