I use mine for fishing and 2lbs is pushing it. I'm normally flying out 300ish meters. But I try to load everything (hook, bait lead) for around 1lb. Who knows how much more load its carrying with the line out there. Maybe 200ft its possible but it will be unstable.

Best bet is to hike all the way up the trail and take off there. Can't actually walk up to the light house unless they changed it recently. Been a bit since I been there. You can hike straight up the mountain side instead of following the paved road at your own risk.

Do you have another wall charger? Sounds like one you have is faulty. I use my iphone charger to charge my controller. I believe that one is 1A.
