Good to hear another P4P pilot is still flyiing. I'm recreational, but have a Commercial Pilots License to fly aircraft, but that isn't good enough to fly a drone. I fly as much as I can. My P4Pv1 has been a reliable drone for many years. Continue to have fun!

Well it's now Jan 17, 2026 and I haven't gotten a chance to test Geofencing. In Florida now. In uncontrolled airspace here, so will need to go close to NAS Pensacola and try to start my P4P. It should let me know immediatly that I cannot start the motors.

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of drones. I also have a P4P. Go to DJI site and download Go4 app. That is the way to control your drone. Good luck and fun flying.

Yes, welcome back. Firmware has always been puzzeling to me. Some like it, others don't. Some are good, some bad. Guess you won't have to worry since no firmware is available for the P4P v1 now. There might be a place, but not from DJI. Now go fly that thing!! :)
