You said you go UP to 400 meters. Didn't see what country you are in, but 400 meters is over 1300 feet. Did you mean 400 feet; which is the legal limit AGL here in the US. Even at that your signal should not have been lost. I had that problem once when I forgot to unfold the antennas.

App should let you know, but Is it possible you are in an area where the Geofencing has restricted the start of the motors?

Thanks everyone for great info. Will see what happens when I fly in those 'former' geofenced zones. Spending winter down south where there are no problems flying. Will see what happens next April on the west coast where I had problems in the past.

Well it happened. I started my P4P and a message said I needed to d/l new firmware. I'm inside and cant fly for some time due to weather, so don't know if it deleted Geofencing or not. Since no new firmware has been available for a couple of years, makes sense that it is Geofencing deletion.

Would be surprised if they did have new firmware. But they should take care of us 'old dronies'. Are you listening DJI?

It wasn't me....it was Gremlins!!! Had to reboot. Works now.

Don't use the Velcro that comes with the RID. Buy a better Velcro so the RID doesn't fall off.

I paid $96 when all the hype was going. Good unit though.

You can only download DJI Go4 app from DJI support site.
