Just my two cents; I widen the crack a bit with a hobby knife and fill it with baking soda, then I hit it with the glue. If you add baking soda to the glue, it doesn't get into the crack as well... where the added strength is needed.
I've had my P3S to 13845'. I use Icarus and the Argtek mod. (Icarus is much the same as the Magic Mod) Where I fly is just congested enough to create connection issues. Using a parabolic reflector and Icarus I went to only 3300' from 1600' stock.
No previous experience. Only studied the prep course offered by the FAA, which took several hours.
On a related note, part 107 is much easier than the new license which will be needed by all drone operators in Canada, starting 01 June
Try cycling the battery. DJI recommends you take the battery down to 8% every 20 charges, then fully charge it again. If the fourth cell is still red, it's probably toast
The track is wrong, meaning the software is showing the controller pointing in the wrong direction. I'll post a pic after work, with the drone and screen showing the track is wrong.
When it's track up and the controller is facing the drone, the track should show vertical. I have flown the drone in a full circle around me and stopped at several places. The only way it shows a vertical track is if the controller is pointed away from the drone. If I knew what data was wrong, I...
The line should be vertical if the controller is pointing directly at the drone. It doesn't matter where I put the drone, the line is never vertical if I'm facing it
Negative. I have tested this. Drone pointing at me, controller at drone... line is crooked like above pic. To get a vertical line, I have to turn away from the drone. There is a calibration setting wrong somewhere
