Thanks for the reply. I figured out that the FW update on the transmitter was successful, but not the one on the aircraft so I reinstalled it. Thanks, I found that the red light control was set to not come on which is fine with me. Everything should be fine now after staying up until 4:30AM...
My P3P was flying perfectly and I decided to install the new DJI Go app on my iPod air 2 tablet. After installing it, I am getting an upgrade message when I bring up the Aircraft state window saying that the camera, aircraft and battery require updates, but the top of the app says it is ready...
I installed the android app "wifi prioritizer" and use it to select the phantom when I set up to fly with no problems now when I am around places that have wifi signals. I just flew to around 1300' away a couple days ago with perfect video feed at the highest resolution setting. Might be worth...
Thank you. Do you know if something like a metal desk would interfere with the advanced IMU calibration or is this independent of the compass? If the compass is involved in the IMU calibration, I would have to relocate my computer but my Phantom 1 was calibrated in the same place and it flew...
My old Phantom 1 would rotate on its own axis without drifting into a circular path like my Vision +. Does anyone know if there is a way to do anything that might "tighten" the circle? It is no big deal at an upper altitude, but when it gets low it becomes aggravating. Thanks in advance, Bill
Thank you so much for explaining this! I will try that analyzer when I get back home. Since entering the MAC address from the new transmitter manually and having it say binding was successful did not work, I am guessing that the label might not be correct. Anyway, thank you again!
I just tried to bind by entering the MAC address on the new wifi transmitter manually in the app - still no success. I am baffled why the new one will not work - the old one had everything working except the video feed.
Thanks Jerry. I think that procedure is for binding with the original transmitter while I have replaced my transmitter and that procedure does not seem to work.
I had to buy a new wifi transmitter after losing video feed with the original transmitter even though all the other telemetry features worked. I installed the new transmitter in the Phantom and then tried to bind it with the wifi extender using the QR code that the new transmitter came with. I...
Great idea Larry. I did not think of getting square trade insurance when I bought mine on ebay. I see you are in central TX while I live in Denison at the Red River.
Elementary my dear Watson. As long as you know it is high enough, but you lost visual on it, HL and pulling back will get it within sight and hearing distance for you. By the way, you can always determine where it is and which way it is facing using the app on your smartphone as long as you...
Okay, I have a question. If you put the Phantom into failsafe after changing the starting face direction and take it back over with ATTI mode and switch back to GPS mode, will that change the face direction for CL if you are now in HL and it reaches the 10m range?
