Unfortunately, the bike is already going to be fully loaded, the old man and I are taking the Motorcycles around the Outer Hebrides for a week so will be stacked up with camping kit. A mini would fit nicely in the tank bag and I can attach the controller to the handlebars for recording on the go.

I realise that this is well old by now but I thought I would update this thread. I managed to resolve this issue. I pulled the battery apart and the problem was the main red wire had come away from the PCB. SO I re-soldered and bought a new battery enclosure from eBay, put it all back together...
